Philiodolphia: noun. The state of being loved by a
dolphin. Usually, the subjects of philiodolphia
are dolphins themselves, but some people – particularly sailors – report
cases of being subjected to a very carnal and even violent manifestation of
such love. That is how mermaids are born.
