Orghnourghmahtopayyya

Orghnourghmahtopayyya: noun. A word that sounds very much like a sound let out by a Monkey on drugs rather than sounding like a word. Being a product of the Movement for the Rationalisation of the English Language, the credit for the word orghnourghmahtopayyya must go to Lewis Carroll, though it is said that he got his inspiration from some mad man in a strange hat. The distinguishing feature of Orghnourghmahtopayyya, differentiating it from simple onomatopoeia, is the fact that the word actually sounds like what it means. This was the top priority for the members of the Movement for the Rationalisation of the English Language and though they failed at conceiving a word that sounded like green or cake, this contribution went down in history.
