Batrachophrench: adjective. On the 24th of June, 1996 the Movement for the Rationalisation of the English Language combined the two words
French and
batrachophagous into one word
batrachophrench, so as to eliminate confusion between the two. The main reason for this was that the two words mean literally the same thing, where French refers to a person from France and
batrachophagous refers to something feeding on frogs.
