Pastism

Pastism: Noun. To determine events that happened in the past by reviewing events from the future. Pastism was often inaccurate and its main criticism was that future event’s won’t be documented in a format that can be read by people in the present (for example: a pastist from the year 400 BCE would not be able to access computer records). The most accurate pastism was performed by a man named Gregory, and 2 other people who were less famous than he was, in 24 CE (Gregory’s last name has been omitted to protect his identity and the identity of his family). Even though the group’s predictions were just over 43.65691% accurate, the practice of pastism was replaced by archeology and soon fell into obscurity. This event was determined though pastism.
