Santism

Santism: noun. Santism is a religion which believes that Santa Clause is a being to be worshiped. Santism is most common in small children who usually lose faith later in their lives. Large groups of people who have kept faith long into adulthood can be found in almost any country in the world. A couple individual Santists believe that the world will end when Santa dies in an event that they call “The Santa-clysm” because of their love of bad puns. Some believe that followers of santism have secret Christmas meetings where they preach their religion; most don’t care whether or not this is true.
