Odus:
noun. The state of living somewhere and not being physically forced out of this state of living. It would be logical to conjecture that this word is where the word "exodus" is derived from, but there is not enough evidence to prove this theory. After all, the greatest exodus recorded by ancient scholars would not be a real exodus if it were derived from this word, as the Jews were not physically forced out of their state of living (though they surely had plenty of grievances).
