Hugglepuggle

Hugglepuggle: verb. The act of hugging someone like one hugs a puggle or simply the act of hugging a puggle itself. When hugglepuggling, one has to either lift the hugglepugglee up into the air or squish it in between both arms until its eyes look like they are going to fall out. Contrary to popular belief, a puggle can´t be puggled the same way a schnauzer is schnuggled. However, a schnauzer can´t be huggleschnauzered (as that is absolutely ridiculous), making the dog-score even. The etymology of this word is easily understood. The verb came into existence through several Frenchmen jumbling up the only sentence they learned in Britain: “Hug a puggle” into “Hug le puggle” and later “hugglepuggle.” A British historian from the 13th century quite correctly noted that once, when eating a giant plate of snails and frogs, William the Conqueror commented that hugglepuggling was disgusting.
