Phyxiate

Phyxiate verb. 1. To bring someone back to life by depriving them of air, opposite of asphyxiate. 2. To fix oneself on/become attached to an abstract idea. The word was first used by Doctor Victor Frankenstein when he created, or rather brought back to life, his victim...er...creation. His monster was brought back to life when he deprived it of air by introducing it to lightning. Doctor Frankenstein himself was phyxiated on the idea of bringing things back to life, much to the dismay of his orchids.
