Cableable adjective. Throughout history, several meanings have been created for this word. Some are listed here:
1. Pertaining to something which can be covered or surrounded in cable.
2. Describing something which can be measured in cables. A cable is an imperial unit of maritime length. 1 cable = 100 fathoms.
3. Explaining something which is extremely difficult to understand, but can be understood; something which can be fathomed with some difficulty.
4. Illustrating something which had the ability to have the ability of adding the letter c.
Nobody is quite sure which definition of the word was first used; however, it is known with 100% certainty who used the word first. It was Edward Russell, Admiral of the Fleet, who was known for his hemp ropes covering other ropes and his fondness of the letter c.
