Celerise

Celerise: verb. To turn a battery into a giant piece of celery in mysterious ways, for example by waving a magic wand or by uttering the words “abracadabra que salga la celery”. The magic spell can, however, go very very wrong, with repeated cases of batteries being turned into broccoli and artichokes. Why, one may ask, would one turn an electrical cell into celery? The answer is simple. For over three hundred years, wizards from all around the world have been controlling the prices of celery versus the prices of batteries on the American market. As soon as one kilogram of celery became cheaper than one kilogram of batteries, the wizards changed all their wealth stored in celery to batteries. This also happened the other way round and so, the American economy is being robbed of millions of dollars each year. Celerising is also a very common and practical method of recharging batteries – when out of power, a battery can simply be celerised, watered and turned back to a battery again.
